How we began

West Midlands Childrens Theatre was founded as a non-profit making company in 1973 by Mike and Jill Coffman, with one simple aim. To introduce a wonderfully engaging live theatrical experience to primary and special needs pupils throughout the British Isles and Ireland. An experience the children will wish to repeat over and over again.

We recently moved from our base in Wolverhampton to the countryside in Shropshire, allowing us more space to store our many thousands of costumes and vast array of props.
